jawapan A--Green bean seedlings in pot X is taller than green bean seedlings in pot Y because it gets more space
jawapan B--Green bean seedlings in pot Y is shorter than green bean seedlings in pot X because it gets less space
Tetapi apabila ditanya soalan-soalan tambahan, kadang-kadang murid gagal menjawab dengan baik sedangkan mereka tahu jawapannya. Sebagai contoh;
Q5--Give another observation that shows the green bean seedlings grow healthy?
Murid-murid adalah dinasihatkan supaya jangan panik, tulislah pemerhatian yang sesuai tetapi berkaitan. Janganlah ditulis lagi the green bean seedlings is taller tetapi tulislah pemerhatian lain yang menunjukkan biji benih itu telah tumbuh dengan subur seperti the seedlings has more leaves, the seedlings has bigger stem, the seedlings is greener in color (apa-apa sajalah pemerhatian yang menunjukkan pokok itu subur.

Samalah seperti soalan di atas. Murid-murid carilah alasan lain yang logik yang boleh menyokong pemerhatian yang telah dibuat. Jika alasan pertama kita berdasarkan the seedlings has more space, bagi soalan ini tuliskan alasan lain yang sesuai seperti the seedlings has been planted in a quality soil, the soil has been added fertilizer dan the seeds are from a better quality...compared to the seeds in pot Y
